... on modern computers. Many have had issues with processors with more than one core. You can try to set ET to run only on one core. Some have had help from that. (in Windows, select ET.exe process from Task Manager and set affinity to only one core)

That's way better than setting a medic-limit. What comes to kill/death ratio: I don't like to die ingame!...
