Another thing is that ET isn't an optimized game ment to run on modern computers. Many have had issues with processors with more than one core. You can try to set ET to run only on one core. Some have had help from that. (in Windows, select ET.exe process from Task Manager ...

The problem I had, was, that the autoexec.cfg could not be loaded? Everytime I wrote in the console exec autoexec.cfg there always came the message, that it can't be loaded? I don't know...and because of that, I changed the origin ...
