did you install steam recently? had the same problem about 2 years ago when i installed steam for the very first time... after i removed it, it was fine again. when i googled for the error it looked like steam actually have something to do with ...

when you bought your graphics card, you should have had a disk that came with it, and this has the drivers, just software on a disk, you need to reinstall the disk, thats all

or if your graphics card came with your pc then you should have a disk with drivers on, same difference.
