I would like to let you know that I am leaving the clan. The past two years have been fun to be part of ETc, but it is time to close the chapter. I’ve been clean from smoking hash for over three months now, which was an hell of a journey because I was addicted for over 10 years. At some point, I realized I wasn’t happy with my daily life anymore and knew I needed to make a change.
A few months ago, I decided to turn my life around. I removed everything that fueled my addiction, including playing Wolfenstein and dedicating myself to keeping the server alive. I gave my Nkey to a friend for safekeeping and made a promise to get it back only after being clean for three months. I won’t deny that I occasionally played on the server under a different name because I sometimes got bored and didn’t have access to my Nkey. But after many attempts, I finally managed to overcome my smoking and gaming addiction, and I’m really proud of that!
On Christmas Day, I reclaimed my Nkey back. However, the game doesn’t feel the same as it did when I was smoking daily. To avoid falling back into old habits and because of other important priorities/opportunities in life, I’ve decided to delete Wolfenstein for good. I know not everyone was the biggest fan of me, but I still want to thank the ETc|community as a whole for all the great moments on the server.
